Last year at this time I had just started working as a secretary at my job. I really enjoyed working with the people in the front office but shortly after settling into the position things changed. My favorite co-worker Lindsay changed positions and I just didn't enjoy it quite as much after that. An opportunity became available to go back to what I was doing before moving to the front office but in more of a supervisor/manager role. So I applied and interviewed and got the job! I was excited to be back on the unit, working more closely with the patients and my co-techies. I have been in this position since September. It has been super stressful, but good overall. I tell Matt all the time that I don't want to work period... I just want to play volleyball any chance I get, stay home all day and watch Netflix! What I would pay to go back to Snow College where, let's be honest, all I really did was play volleyball.
Matt is still working as a personal trainer in the mornings and going to school. He is working so hard, and probably pushing himself a little too far! But, if anyone can do it, he can! I'm so grateful that he is willing to put all this time and energy into school so that I don't have to do it! haha... :) His health has been good and he has been getting nothing but positive news from his oncologist/radiologist. We are so grateful for this and continue to count our blessings!
Just a couple days ago Matt and I were talking about the what the near future has to bring. Such as, school, school, and more school... haha! We talked about many other things, like babies! (Side note: I'M SO BABY HUNGRY!) I just have to hold out a little longer and we can maybe start thinking about the whole starting a family bit! I can do it! Right? We also talked about moving out of state for PA school and where that might take us. If only I could see into the future...
